Revised version of the Toolbox for Acrylamid

At the end of March, the 15th version of the Toolbox for Acrylamide was published by the European umbrella organisation FoodDrinkEurope.

The toolbox serves as a toolbox for food companies and is intended to help them to reduce the formation of acrylamide in affected foods by means of short descriptions. The most important changes to the 15th version included the distinction between suitable tools for the food categories "potato-based snacks" (e.g. potato chips) and "French fries and other sliced (frozen) potato products". Furthermore, "Coffee and coffee substitutes (based on cereals and chicory)" have been divided into two separate food categories.

The toolbox is available at the following link: https://www.fooddrinkeurope.eu/publication/fooddrinkeurope-updates-industry-wide-acrylamide-toolbox/
