Expert bodies

The BAV Institute is a member of the following organisations, associations and confederations:

Paul Andrei is a member of the working group on recommended microbiological levels and microbiological red flags, which is part of the DGHM expert group on food microbiology and hygiene ( „Mikrobiologische Richt- und Warnwerte der Fachgruppe Lebensmittelmikrobiologie und –hygiene der DGHM“) and takes part in its preparation of recommended microbiological levels and microbiological red flags for foodstuffs.

Joelle Nussbaum is a member of the expert group on microbiology and industrial hygiene (Fachgruppe „Mikrobiologie und Betriebshygiene“) of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Wissenschaftliche und Angewandte Kosmetik e.V.

She is also a member of the working group on the preservation of cosmetics (Arbeitskreis Konservierung kosmetischer Mittel) of the Gesellschaft Österreichischer Chemiker (Austrian Chemical Society).

Dr. Bernhard Fellenberg is member of the expert group „Kosmetische Mittel“ of the Food Chemical Society a working group of the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh).

Joachim Eitel is deputy head of the specialist group „Kosmetische Mittel“ of the German Society for Scientific and Applied Cosmetics e.V.
