Extended spectrum of PFAS (Per- and polyfluorinated substances) in cosmetics

Per- and polyfluorinated substances (PFAS) are a group of well over 10,000 substances that can be introduced as environmental contaminants, including in cosmetics, and must be evaluated in the safety report of products according to the Regulation (EC) 1223/2009.

Effective immediately, the list of substances has been expanded from eleven to 19. The BAV Institute as part of the international Tentamus laboratory group provides you with fast and reliable results for cosmetics and raw materials down to a measurement range of one µg/kg (parts per billion).

Do you have questions about PFAS? Do you have questions about the analysis of other contaminants like PAHs, phthalates, etc.?

Call us, we look forward to hearing from you!
