FoodRecall:SalmonellaAgainInHalva
Due to the detection of salmonella, a halva product is being recalled again. The publication was also made via the website lebensmittelwarnung.de.
Salmonella plays an important role worldwide as a cause of gastrointestinal diseases. These bacteria are mostly transmitted through raw animal products, especially poultry, eggs, and pork. However, spices such as paprika and pepper, as well as herbs, can also be contaminated with salmonella.
More information on salmonella and other pathogenic germs can be found on the page of the BVL or in our BAV data sheets and FAQs. You can find these on our homepage.
