Food Warnings August 2022 – Numerous Recalls Due to Microbiological Contaminations with Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC), and Molds

In this portal, the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) publishes warnings from food companies and authorities about foods that are hazardous to health, repulsive, or otherwise unmarketable.

We have summarized the notifications for August 2022. In August, products were particularly frequently recalled due to microbiological contamination. The recalls impacted various product groups and were attributed to Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, STEC, and molds.
