The working group "Microbiological Reference and Warning Values" of the specialist group "Food Microbiology and Hygiene" of the German Society for Hygiene and Microbiology (DGHM) publishes recommendations for the assessment of microbiological examination results of food. In Germany, these recommendations are widely accepted and used by both food monitoring authorities and the food industry. Especially in the assessment of official samples, the DGHM recommendations play an important role.
