DGK/IKW advanced training course – Microbiological product safety of cosmetics
Under the title "Microbiological safety of cosmetic products – influencing factors, tests and assessment" the DGK (German Society for Scientific and Applied Cosmetics) and the IKW (Association of the Personal Care and Detergent Industry) are organizing an exciting two-day seminar on 24 and 25 November 2026.
The seminar will take place in person in Düsseldorf. Over the two days, topics will include the following:
- Microbiological safety assessment
- Microbiological fundamentals
- Requirements for testing
- Evaluation of preservative challenge test (KBT)
- Requirements for raw materials and water systems
- Contaminants and safety assessment
- Skin microbiome
In addition to Joelle Nussbaum from the BAV Institute (head of the Microbiology and Operational Hygiene working group of the DGK), Michael Pflock, Dr. Ulrich Eignener and Dr. Rainer Simmering will present.
Use the two days to become proficient in microbiology or refresh your existing knowledge. The number of participants is limited, so please register quickly (link attached).
