DGK/IKW Training for Safety Assessors – Preparation of Safety Reports
Safety assessors for cosmetic products are, according to Annex I Part B in conjunction with Article 12 of Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, required to provide proof of qualifications in the safety report and are encouraged to participate in regular training events to keep their knowledge up to date with the state of the art.
The German Society for Cosmetics (DGK e.V.) offers, in cooperation with the German Cosmetic, Toiletry, Perfumery and Detergent Association (IKW), a two-day training course on November 18-19, 2024, in Düsseldorf on the following topic:
“Microbiological Product Safety of Cosmetic Products - Influencing Factors, Tests and Evaluation”
Joelle Nussbaum from BAV Institute will be among the speakers, covering topics such as:
- Requirements for conducting and reporting microbiological examinations
- Microbiological purity requirements for cosmetics
- Microbiological purity requirements for raw materials and the water system
