Federal Council approves Nutriscore
On October 9th, the Federal Council also approved the regulation of the Federal Minister for Food and Agriculture, Julia Klöckner. The first ordinance to amend the Food Information Implementation Ordinance will thus come into effect. This means that the nutritional value labeling using Nutri-Score is now nothing standing in the way. It is expected to be legally used in Germany starting from the beginning of November.
