Adulteration and Contamination of Food

To detect and prevent food adulteration, the food standard IFS (International Featured Standard) requires the implementation of strategies in manufacturing operations. A key component of this is the analytical testing of the raw materials used.

Adulteration of both plant and animal products can be uncovered using the so-called Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) method. Even small traces up to an amount of 0.5% can be quickly and reliably detected as contamination or adulteration.

In our Tentamus laboratories, we regularly conduct these investigations. We provide you with fast and reliable results.
