Information leaflet "Coffee to go" cups

This leaflet describes the relevant legal aspects and operational requirements for this purpose and provides specific recommendations for the proper and hygienic handling of customer-owned cups for filling.

The leaflet is considered, in the sense of Art. 8 of Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004, as a recognized industry guideline for Good Practice and provides nationwide uniform guidance for user and surveillance practice.

The leaflet specifically describes the dispensing of hot beverages such as coffee, cocoa, or tea through service or self-service in cups or containers brought by customers to the food business.
