New General Administrative Regulation on (AVV Monitoring) published
The Federal Ministry published a new version of the AVV Monitoring in the Joint Ministerial Gazette 6-2020. The AVV Monitoring regulates the number and type of sample examinations for carrying out the monitoring of food, cosmetic products, and consumer goods according to § 52 LFGB.
Section 1 of the AVV Monitoring includes the following groups of substances, for example:
- Mineral oil components MOSH and MOAH in vegetable cooking oils and fats
- Pyrrolizidine alkaloids and tropane alkaloids in flours
- Pesticide residues in fully edible plant-based foods
