The protocol of the 24th meeting of the BfR Commission on Cosmetics has been published. This commission advises on questions regarding the health safety of cosmetics.

In the meeting from November 2019, the following topics were discussed:

-       Thiamidol in depigmentation agents

-       Allergenic fragrances and respiration

-       Ricinin and results of a mutagenicity test

-       Eyelash perm agents with sodium bromate
