Salmonellosis no longer declining!

Salmonellosis no longer declining!

After many years of continuous reduction of salmonellosis in Germany and other EU countries, this trend has not continued in the last two years.

Now the fight against salmonella in laying hens shall be further advanced. A target of 2% is to be achieved; according to estimates, a further reduction of 1% could practically halve the number of cases of illness.
