Stability tests of cosmetics – ISO/TR 18811
For many years, the BAV Institute, as part of the international Tentamus laboratory group, has been conducting stability tests of cosmetic products.
You need these tests:
- for the preparation of the safety report according to Regulation (EC) 1223/2009
- to demonstrate the microbiological stability of the product, conducted according to ISO 11930 (preservative efficacy tests)
- to demonstrate chemical-physical stability regarding parameters such as pH value, density, viscosity, etc.
- for a stable and thereby safe product until the expiration of its shelf life
