Waterless cosmetics - what to consider?

Shower gel, shampoo, body lotion up to dental hygiene: the trend towards waterless cosmetic products continues unabated. These are either products intended for direct use or products that are used by the consumer only after further dilution or dissolution with water.

In both cases, the strict requirements of EU cosmetic legislation and thus the EU Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 must be complied with. This also includes the requirements for creating a product information file (PIF), notification, and compliance with good manufacturing practice (cosmetic GMP).

In addition, the product labeling requirements must be followed (batch number, etc.).
