The Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) has published the resolutions of the 119th ALS meeting (ALS: Working Group of Food Chemistry Experts of the States and the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety).
The following resolutions are included:
- Inspection of allergens in the manufacturing plant
- Fermented/hydrolyzed cereal products for the production of beverages such as "oat drinks" or "rice drinks"
- LMIV - designation jelly pudding/götterspeise vs. pudding
- Ingredients of mulled wine
- Shikimic acid levels in wines of the Burgundy group
- Sample bottles of single malt Scotch whisky
- Indication of sugar content in wine
- Labeling of sulfur dioxide (sulfites) in wine-like beverages
- Assessment of geographical references in whisky
- Spirits: field of vision regulation for the labeling of compound terms/allusions according to Regulation (EU) 2019/787
- Images of flavoring foods and raw materials in the labeling and advertising of spirits
- Marketing of children's tea
- Designation of complementary food
- Labeling "without genetic engineering"
