22nd DGK Symposium under the motto Trans#Future
The German Society for Scientific and Applied Cosmetics (DGK) is hosting the 22nd Symposium at Zeche Zollverein Essen from May 15th to 17th, 2019, under the motto Trans#Future.
The following questions, among others, will be discussed:
- What are the influencing factors for future cosmetic formulations?
- How does social media influence cosmetics production?
- Is vegan cosmetics a trend?
DGK's Group 2 (Microbiology and Operational Hygiene), led by Mrs. Joelle Nussbaum from the BAV Institute, contributes to the success of the symposium with a lecture on the topic of the skin microbiome (Skin Microbiome – from Bad to Good).
Recently, position papers on the topics
- Microbiology of Cosmetics – Basic Requirements for Microbiological Testing
- Quality Management and Technical Requirements in Microbiological Laboratories
were published in this group.
