30/06/2025 - Pluralibacter gergoviae in cosmetic products - ISO 17516
The microorganism Pluralibacter gergoviae (formerly known as Enterobacter gergoviae) is one of the main causes of microbiological contamination in cosmetics. It is typically introduced through water and inadequate hygiene in manufacturing facilities.
Regular microbiological control of end products as well as raw materials is therefore essential. Our accredited laboratory tests quickly and reliably for this microorganism as well. The test is conducted qualitatively for absence in 1g (requirement ISO 17516), is a very sensitive testing method, and offers a high level of safety accordingly.
It is particularly important to detect contamination as early as possible to respond quickly and preventively. In addition to testing, we also provide advice on all issues such as hygiene, monitoring, sampling, support with complaints, and more.
We look forward to your message and inquiry!
