Change in Maximum Levels for Lead - In BAV Newsletter 03/2015

The European Commission is amending the maximum levels of lead in various foodstuffs through Regulation (EU) 2015/1005. The regulation enters into force on January 1, 2016. Food products that were placed on the market before January 1, 2016, and do not comply with the new levels may still be marketed. (eur-lex.europa.eu)
