Resolution to amend the Narcotics Act from February 2023

With the amendment, the federal government is aligning the regulation at the national level with EU law. Companies operating in the industrial hemp sector, such as agricultural businesses, can now market industrial hemp with a THC content of 0.3 percent, provided they also meet the other requirements of the Narcotics Act (BtMG). Previously, the limit was 0.2 percent THC.
