In the current July/August issue of the sofw journal, a new article titled “Preservative Efficacy Test (PET) for Cosmetic Products: Practical Application” by authors Mr. Ulrich Eigener and Ms. Joelle Nussbaum (BAV Institute) has been published.
This article addresses, among other things:
- better reliability of results through practical microbes, e.g., Pluralibacter gergoviae
- limitations of the PET method or ISO 11930
- integration into the Microbiological Quality Management System (MQM)
