Öko-Test tests solid body butter – Silicones, paraffins, and mineral oils found

In the current Öko-Test issue (February 2023), 26 solid body butters were tested for residues, contaminants, and undesirable substances. Both natural cosmetics and conventional products were examined.

18 products received the highest rating. Öko-Test criticized the following ingredients in other products:

-          Silicones

-          PEG/PEG derivatives

-          Paraffins

-          Mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOAH)
