Recall of salmon due to Listeria monocytogenes

Recall of salmon due to Listeria monocytogenes

A manufacturer of smoked fish products is recalling a smoked salmon with the use-by date 02.09.2023 and the batch number L34232531/20. The reason for the recall is the detection of the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes. These bacteria can cause serious illnesses, especially in pregnant women, infants, the elderly, and sick people, which can even be fatal. Two supermarkets are particularly affected by the recall.
