TentaSpeed L. mono: Results in 6h – fastest Listeria analysis in food

With the newly developed quick method “TentaSpeed L. mono” at BAV INSTITUT, low germ counts of Listeria spp. and/or Listeria monocytogenes can be detected in food within 6 hours.

The procedure has been successfully tested for various food groups, such as meat and meat products, fish and fish products, dairy products and cheese, salads, delicatessen and convenience products. The detection limit of the method is < 20CFU/g.

In urgent cases, this method allows for statements about contamination with Listeria spp. and/or Listeria monocytogenes to be made for the first time on the same day.
