Eggs contaminated with fipronil have now been found in almost all federal states. As a precaution, Aldi Süd, Aldi Nord, Lidl, Rewe, and Penny are now taking all eggs off sale across Germany.

It cannot be ruled out that processed products such as pastries or pasta are also affected.
