Updateoftheassessmentvaluesforallergens
The ALTS assessment values for undeclared allergens have been updated and published on the website of the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL).
The following changes have been made:
- New assessment values are included for: fish, crustaceans and shrimps, wheat
- The assessment values have been lowered for the following allergens: soybeans, tree nuts (cashew nuts, walnuts, and others), sesame seeds, celery, mustard
- The assessment values have been increased for the following allergens: eggs, milk

To ensure the safety and error-free declaration of our customers' products, we have adapted our methods and replaced them with more sensitive procedures. The detection limit has been reduced by a factor of 100 in some cases due to improved testing methods.
