Baker convicted due to hygiene deficiencies - In BAV Newsletter 02/2011

The Munich District Court has fined a 39-year-old baker 4,500 euros for hygiene deficiencies, following an initial warning with a 6,000 euro fine. Previously, cockroaches, mouse droppings, contaminated baking trays, and dead mice were found in the defendant's bakery. After the first warning, the conditions in the bakery did not change. The master baker has since sold his business.
