Beer must not be advertised as "wholesome" - In BAV Newsletter 04/2015

According to a ruling by the Ravensburg Regional Court, beer may no longer be advertised as digestible. The court refers to a ruling by the European Court of Justice, which dealt with the issue for wine. This statement is considered a health claim, which is not allowed for alcoholic beverages with more than 1.2% alcohol by volume. (Source: www.juravendis.de)
