BfR-Opinion: Bacillus cereus in food can cause diarrhea and vomiting

In September 2019, the BfR (Federal Institute for Risk Assessment) published a detailed opinion (No. 35/2019 from 16.09.2019) on Bacillus cereus in food products.

Different strains of the Bacillus cereus group can cause various symptoms depending on their toxin-producing abilities.
