BLL - Statement on the Current Developments Regarding Fipronil!
The BLL e. V. has released a statement in response to recent press reports on fipronil in processed foods such as eggnog or baked goods. This specifically relates to the legal assessment of product marketability and decisions on recalls. This statement is available online at www.bll.de and is of particular relevance, as the state of Lower Saxony recently demanded zero tolerance for fipronil. This does not align with the enforcement guideline adopted jointly by the federal and state governments in August 2017.
