BLL: The Joint Research Center confirms – no East-West divide in food quality

Based on numerous product investigations, the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission concluded that there are no East-West quality differences in food products in Europe.

This confirms the statement of the food industry by the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission JRC that differences in composition due to recipes do not necessarily affect the quality of a food product.

Here, national regulations and recommendations, consumer habits in different countries, or taste preferences play a much more significant role.

Furthermore, some countries prefer local supply chains, which can also result in changes in recipes.
