ChangesInTheGuidelinesForMeatAndMeatProductsPublished
At the beginning of April, changes to the Guidelines for Meat and Meat Products were published in the Federal Gazette.
The following products are affected by the changes:
- Mortadella
- Jagd Sausage
- Cooked Spreadable Sausages
- Strasbourg Goose Liver Sausage
- Ground Meat Half and Half
- Wiener Schnitzel
- Cordon bleu
For example, the guidelines were changed with regard to the designations of Ground Meat Half and Half, Mortadella, or Jagd Sausage. Furthermore, the species labeling of cooked spreadable sausages was adjusted, among other things.
