In recent months, numerous warnings have been issued due to positive findings of Listeria monocytogenes on the federal states' website www.lebensmittelwarnung.de. Cheese and sausage products were particularly affected. In addition to product recalls of individual items, a sales ban was imposed on the entire product range of three butcheries in Bavaria.
