Cosmetics Europe guidelines on fragrance labeling published
The association Cosmetics Europe has published a guideline document for the extended fragrance labeling of cosmetics based on Regulation (EU) 2023/1545. The document is freely available on the Cosmetics Europe website.
It explains the handling and interpretation of the labeling of fragrances and provides examples. Guidance is provided on:
- Labeling of individual substances and complex substances
- Correct order in the INCI list
- Individual and collective designations
- Difference between active addition and contamination
