CVUA: Residues in Fresh Vegetables 2011 - In BAV Newsletter 02/2012
In 2011, the Chemical and Veterinary Analytical Institute Stuttgart tested 754 vegetable samples from conventional farming for pesticide residues. 83% of the samples contained residues of a total of 191 different active substances. Residue findings were quantitatively determined in 2607 cases. In 53 samples (7%), residue levels above the legal maximum were found.
