In Germany, another major food manufacturer is planning to introduce the Nutri-Score food labeling system for its entire product portfolio. Iglo is following the lead of Danone.

The labeling system Nutri-Score, introduced in France last year, is based on the nutrient profiling system of the British Food Standards Agency (FSA-NPS). Belgium and Spain have announced plans to introduce the system in a similar form. In Germany, Danone has also set the start for 2019.
