Aluminum-free deodorants in test – Polycyclic musk compound detected

In the current Öko-Test issue (July 2023), a total of 34 deodorant sprays without aluminum salts were tested. Due to the following ingredients and residues, there was a devaluation:

• Galaxolide (Polycyclic musk compound - suspected hormonal effect)
• Halogenated organic compounds (AOX/EOX)
• PEG compounds
