Detection of Pesticides in Grapes - Product Recall

Recently, a food product (grapes) was recalled due to an exceedance of a pesticide limit. In this case, the insecticide "Acetamiprid" was detected above the legal limit.

The legal limits (maximum residue levels) for pesticides in food are regulated EU-wide by Regulation (EC) No. 396/2005. Food containing prohibited pesticides or pesticides above the limits is not marketable in the EU.

In our Tentamus laboratories, we regularly conduct pesticide residue testing. We provide you with fast and reliable results.

Our customer advisors are happy to assist you with any questions.
