Detection of harmful mold toxin patulin in a pear juice - Product recall

Recently, a food product (pear juice) was recalled due to exceedance of limits of patulin.

The legal limits for mycotoxins in foodstuffs are regulated EU-wide in Regulation (EU) No. 2023/915. Foodstuffs containing mycotoxins above the limits are not marketable in the EU.
