DIN ISO/TR 18811 – Guide for the Stability Testing of Cosmetics

Recently, the DIN/ISO TR 18811 has been published. This guideline provides general recommendations and practical advice regarding the performance of stability tests.

These tests are required for all cosmetic products by Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and are part of the safety report. The guideline describes the selection of possible test parameters, test conditions (e.g. temperatures, light exposure, humidity, etc.), and the evaluation of results.

The selection of all test parameters and test times is always product-specific.
