Drinking water is a precious commodity, even in hot weather

The first heat wave made Germany and all of Europe groan. The next one is already predicted. It’s high time for experts of all kinds.

Among them are those who are deeply familiar with the matter, such as the Federal Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW). If you read their current tips carefully, they often refer to water uses where rationally no microbiological drinking water quality would be required, e.g., for watering in the apartment, on the balcony and in the garden, and lawn “care”.

And, of course, collective changes in behavior are sensible: Showering instead of bathing (most people do this anyway on hot days), critically questioning swimming pool fillings, etc.

It is clear: in pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic industries, certain water qualities are required in production for good reason. This is to be substantiated by laboratory analysis as part of the legally mandatory self-monitoring. And, of course, also for water intended for human consumption.

Our customer advisors are very happy to help you.
