The EFSA Report on Food Safety was published again in June after several years.

It focuses particularly on survey results related to various food-relevant topics. It was found, for example, that the following issues are causing concern among consumers in the EU:

• Misuse of antibiotics, hormones, and steroids in livestock (44%)
• Pesticide residues in food (39%)
• Food additives (36%)
