Fault in the HACCP system?: Broken seal leads to a biofilm of Aeromonas hydrophilia in now recalled milk from almost all supermarkets
In the reduced-fat milk from "Deutsche Milchkontor GmbH" together with "Fude + Serrahn Milchprodukte," the bacterium Aeromonas hydrophila/caviae was found. Since this poses a health risk to consumers, the products from the private labels of Real, Netto, Rewe, Aldi, and Lidl are affected.
The bacterium Aermonoas hydrophila/caviae was found during a routine inspection of some batches of reduced-fat milk. The products are exclusively marked with the identification mark DE NW 508 EG, other marks are not affected.
The affected fresh milk products come from the DMK plant Everswinkel (Deutsche Milchkontor GmbH).
In our laboratory, we regularly conduct examinations for aeromonads and other pathogenic germs like Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella. We provide you with fast and reliable results.
For questions, our customer advisors are gladly at your disposal.
