Eyeliner under test in the current issue of Öko-Test
In the August issue of Öko-Test magazine, a total of 18 eyeliners were examined more closely and sent to the laboratories. 11 of the 18 products received a rating of very good or good, four products were satisfactory, and three others were rated poorly.
Reasons for the downgrade included, among other things
- Formaldehyde and formaldehyde releasers
- Propylparaben as a preservative
- Halogenated organic compounds
- Paraffins & silicones
- Sodium lauryl sulfate
- PEG and PEG derivatives
