World Cup time is also time for fan makeup and other coloring cosmetic products that consumers apply on the face, but also on other parts of the body.

As part of an official investigation, several of these products were recently examined for prohibited ingredients, residues, and labeling requirements. Fortunately, the rate of complaints was lower than in comparable investigations at the time of the last World Cup.

Nevertheless, about one-third of the products examined were objectionable. Undeclared colors, labeling deviations, a missing list of ingredients, and an undeclared preservative were among the reasons for complaints.
