For dry products such as vegetable broths, in accordance with the regulations of the Pre-Packaging Ordinance, only the amount of liquid required to produce the ready-to-eat product needs to be indicated. (e.g., contents yield xy liters of vegetable broth)

This regulation is critically questioned on the Internet portal “Lebensmittelklarheit”.

Currently, we are not aware of any plans to amend the Pre-Packaging Ordinance in this regard.
