Final report of the Hessian Ministry of Consumer Protection on the "Wilke case"
This final report reveals two key statements:
- There were serious deficiencies at Wilke company. Starting from basic hygiene, construction defects, and errors in their internal control systems. The company Wilke is even accused of working with "criminal intent".
- There were severe omissions in food monitoring in the district of Waldeck-Frankenberg. The meat processing company Wilke was inspected too infrequently in 2018, and it could no longer be determined why serious deficiencies within the company did not appear in writing in the reports.
