On this portal, the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) publishes warnings from food companies and authorities regarding health hazardous, disgusting, or for other reasons non-marketable food.
We have summarized the announcements for December 2020. As in the previous month, recalls due to pesticides were notably high in December. These are predominantly attributed to sesame, which exceeds the maximum levels for ethylene oxide.
