In this portal, the Federal Office of Consumer Protection and Food Safety (BVL) publishes warnings from food companies and authorities about health-threatening, repulsive, or otherwise unmarketable foods.
We have summarized the reports for September 2021. Also in September, as in previous months, food was frequently recalled due to ethylene oxide. The recalls were attributed to very different product categories (e.g., spices, ready meals, or dietary supplements).
